Content Creator

Established revenue streams through affiliate marketing and Google ad revenue on the Milestone Rides brand which spans 4000+ YouTube subscribers, 1000+ Instagram followers, 600+ Facebook followers, and 500+ Twitter followers.
Partnership with Walk ‘N Rollers, YES Sports, LA Metro, and Los Angeles Bicycle Coalition to teach 5000+ students at LA Unified school district and other underserved communities.

Adventure Cycling Association / Discovery Bicycle Tours (2015 – 2022)

Tour Leader

Planned and led over 20+ bicycle tours across the United States between 1 week to 3+ months for 13 to 15 customers each tour.
Accepted leadership roles as advisor for Leadership Training Course (LTC) to help train future tour leaders as well as be part of multiple committees to help determine and improve leadership training for the organization.

LDK Products (2016 – 2020)

General Partner

Launched a self-funded profitable Amazon FBA business. Conducted product development, branding, and standardized fulfillment process of selling and building a brand on Amazon.com as well as on the company website. Drove marketing plan with social media platforms and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns within Amazon’s Seller Central by tracking key performance indicators (KPI). Sold company at the end of 2020.

Sony Pictures Entertainment (2010 – 2014)

Project Manager

Recruited by former manager to be part of the Motion Pictures & Television Production Application Services team to work with several business clients within Columbia Pictures, Screen Gems and other Sony Pictures subsidiaries. Challenged to develop detailed project artifacts to drive a portfolio of applications forward in order to be delivered within scope at minimal risk to schedule, budget, and quality.

Comprehensive Project Launch – Completed rollout of $2M custom-built Finance system, which tracked Columbia Pictures & Screen Gems physical production costs, schedules, and post production dates. This system kept budgetary tabs on ongoing production resulting in 6-fold savings over cost of project. Managed multiple cross-functional teams which consisted of 3 vendors of about 30+ members for both onshore and offshore resources as well as project stakeholders through development, QA, UAT testing, and deployment.
Fostering Future Leaders – Mentored and developed 3 trainees who took on leadership roles within the organization. Provided them with best practice advice in requirements gathering, documentation and testing for several applications.

NBC Universal (2007 – 2010)

Project Manager

Promoted to drive a library of applications in the Digital Content Solutions & Services team. Maintained and improved existing relationships with business partners prior to the NBC/General Electric acquisition. Spearheaded several new application redevelopment projects and ongoing support.

Early Process Adapter – Managed redevelopment and maintenance of the Media Village website, the company’s resource for press and publicity assets which garnered high visibility in the company. Project rolled out using newly adapted ITIL Agile methodology. Oversaw user stories sessions, sprint planning meetings, and daily stand-up calls as the project’s scrum master.
Efficiency Focused – Efficiently managed the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of D3 application. Upon completion, the new system reduced cycle time by 50% and cut shipping costs by $400K annually by recreating and delivering production packages digitally compared to faxing or standard mail.
Cross Functional Facilitator – Led migration of Telemundo’s affiliate site into internal NBC Universal infrastructure with business partners in Miami and offshore technical developers in India. Resulted in cost savings of $144K annually. On a separate project, launched the NBC Affiliate Promotions / Marketing website, which allowed 230+ affiliates to access promotional NBC show materials. Reduced annual expenses by $17K in maintenance and bandwidth cost. Applied previously successful planning and process implementations to ensure the timely delivery of application roll out.
Operations Coordination – Liaison for team during complete overhaul of IT project, maintenance, task, ticketing, and reporting systems by company’s Project Management Office (PMO).
Motivated Mentor – Coached Business Analyst on successful launch of the redevelopment of the DiverseCityNBC website and the development of a mobile site for the Film Maker’s Destination site.
